Dr. Rostami Explains Acorn Secretome Dr. Soheila Rostami introduces Acorn Secretome, an exciting new personalized regenerative treatment now available at Sanctuary Cosmetic Center. Unlike generic, donor-derived exosome products, Acorn Secretome is created using regenerative cells collected from your own hair follicles. In this video, Dr. Rostami explains the complete process: A small number of hair follicles are gently collected from the scalp. The follicles are sent to Acorn’s specialized laboratory. Cells from the follicles are cultured and preserved. Their regenerative signaling molecules—including growth factors, peptides, proteins, cytokines, and exosomes—are collected to create your personalized Secretome. Twelve individualized vials are returned for use in a customized treatment plan. The Secretome does not contain living stem cells. Instead, it contains the powerful cellular signals released by your own cells to support communication, repair, and regeneration. Depending on the patient and treatment plan, Acorn Secretome may be incorporated into scalp treatments for thinning hair or paired with procedures such as microneedling, laser resurfacing, and facial rejuvenation treatments. It may also be used as part of a physician-directed recovery protocol following certain cosmetic procedures to support skin quality and the body’s natural healing response.
