The NEW Shikimic Plus Smart Peel designed for inflamed acne! Shikimic acid itself is an organic acid derived from star anise which is a dry fruit that comes from an evergreen shrub native to southern Asia This acid is famous for its ability to combat microbial growth on the skin's surface! Shikimic acid at a concentration of 5% has a similar exfoliative effect to that of 50% glycolic acid?!?! This smart peel formulation comes in at a 7% concentration. It also contains a mixture of Lactic, Glycolic, and Mandelic acids to help drive this bacteria-scavenger into the skin making it ideal for all grades and forms of acne, including fungal acne! Includes: Double cleanse, Peel, Extractions, Brightening Serum, SPF. This peel is pretty gentle, it does not stay on your skin & you may have minimal flaking - you may have none. You will notice a decrease in inflamed breakouts over 2 days post peel.
