Brian V. Heil MD FACS Premier Plastic Surgery, PC

Overview

If you are considering body contouring to reclaim your shape after pregnancy or weight fluctuations, navigating the timeline myths is an important first step. Patients often believe they must delay surgery indefinitely if they might have children in the future. At our Pittsburgh office, Dr. Heil and Dr. Zhu work closely with you to evaluate your goals and determine the safest, most effective timeline for your procedures. It is also vital to know that while immediate improvements are visible, a mommy makeover requires a dedicated recovery period of several weeks to allow the tissue to heal properly. Maintaining a stable, healthy lifestyle afterward ensures your newly sculpted silhouette lasts for years to come.
