Overview

Four months after a deep-plane lower face and neck lift with platysmaplasty, along with bilateral upper blepharoplasty, she already looks amazing! In her before photo, you can see laxity along the jawline and neck that had developed over time, as well as fullness in the upper eyelids that gave her a tired appearance. For the neck and jawline, releasing and repositioning the platysma muscle allowed us to restore a defined angle beneath the chin, rather than just tightening the skin. The bilateral upper blepharoplasty removed the excess skin that had been crowding her eyes, opening them back up without changing the shape of her eye or how she looks when she's expressive. At four months, she's healed beautifully, though some subtle softening is still ahead as everything continues to settle.
