Achieve Flawless Skin: Understanding Downtime & Results with Laser Treatments Struggling with uneven skin texture, wrinkles, or sun damage? You’re in luck because laser treatments might be the solution you’ve been looking for! At Jiva Med Spa, we offer a variety of laser treatments to suit all skin concerns, including BBL, Moxi, Halo, and ProFractional Laser. Not every laser is right for everyone, as each laser is made to go in different depths, as the deeper the laser, the more downtime required, which can lead to better results. At Jiva Med Spa, we recommend treatments based on your goals, skin condition, and desired downtime. Continue reading to understand more about the different laser treatments and which may suit your needs. Popular Laser Treatments for Skin Rejuvenation & Resurfacing BroadBand Light (BBL) BBL uses Broad Band Light heat energy to treat a variety of skin concerns anywhere on the body, including acne, rosacea, age spots, wrinkles and sun damage. BBL treats sun damage, age spots, and vascular lesions. BBL typically has little to no downtime, however there can be redness for a few hours after treatment. Moxi Moxi is a non-ablative laser that targets water within skin cells to work with your body’s natural healing process for a gentle, yet effective treatment. Moxi treats pigmentation and sun damage, age spots, and vascular lesions. Moxi laser treatments are known for being gentle requiring minimal downtime.
