Overview
Calming – that’s the vibe you get from first entering Santa Fe Serenity Spa’s grounds. After you round the building at the back of the property, you will find the parking area for the spa. The courtyard is a dapple of sun and shade, and the breeze that wafted through the mature trees the day we were here was perfect. Past the wind chimes, flowers and rustic landscaping, you enter a quintessential, vintage Santa Fe style house. Ellen (the owner) was very hospitable, and DW said she got the best massage ever with a wide assortment of oils from which to choose. Afterward, there were some goodies to nibble, and some massage-related samples to take home. We were even able to take advantage of eating the lunch we brought from home at the courtyard table. After asking to join us, we had a very nice conversation with Ellen. We then walked back to the Santa Fe Depot to take the Rail Runner home.
