Overview

All clients seeking filler dissolution are required to schedule a consultation to assess their individual needs and wants of treatment, prior to the actual application of the Hyaluronidase (Hylenex®) treatment. This consultation is free of charge. Filler dissolution is priced following consultation with provider and based on total quantity of vials administered. Multiple treatment sessions may be indicated to achieve full and/or desired filler dissolution. Hyaluronidase (Hylenex®) is an enzyme that degrades hyaluronic acid. It is administered into the subdermal layers of the skin via hypodermic needle. Hyaluronidase can be used to dissolve hyaluronic acid fillers to reverse their effects when an aesthetic treatment has not produced a desired result or when there is a possibility of vascular occlusion or impending necrosis (tissue death). Correcting hyaluronic acid fillers with hyaluronidase is an off-label use i.e. an indication not FDA approved.
