As a double board-certified dermatologist, Mohs surgeon, and Marin County native, Dr. Lowenstein is honored to step into the new role of owner and CEO of Aesthetic Dermatology and Skin Cancer. Dr. Lowenstein brings years of experience in private practice dermatology and is board-certified in both dermatology and Mohs surgery through the American Board of Dermatology. He pursued his undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences at UCSB before returning to the Bay Area to complete medical school and dermatology residency at UCSF – one of the nation’s most prestigious training programs. He then completed a fellowship in Mohs skin cancer surgery at California Skin Institute under the direction of Dr. Greg Morganroth.
