Overview
FLOAT49 features Floataway's 8ft round Float-a-round pools, each containing 1000# of Epsom salts in 11 inches of water. Floatation therapy and it's old-school term "sensory deprivation" is an amazing form of relaxation. Current research has shown that floating weightless in a pool of Epsom salts reduces muscle tension, eases stress, improves sleep and mental clarity. FLOAT49 also features the ONLY fully open float pool in Alaska, perfect for those who may be claustrophobic or have a mobility or disability issue. We are also exclusive to the NovoTHOR photobiomodulation pod, often referred to as "red light therapy." The NovoTHOR pod is a Class II medical device.
